Quin Abbey, the Franciscan abbey at Quin, Co. Clare, was founded in the 14th century. The abbey was home to a friary of Franciscan monks who maintained a presence here until the early 16 century. Quin Abbey is on of the best preserved friaries of its kind in Ireland.
