Old Tropper.jpg
The Old Trooper Monument was dedicated in January 1961 at the Cavalry Parade Field at Fort Riley, Kansas. The statue is a tribute to the United States Cavalry. It is modeled after the drawing "Old Bill" the Cavalry Soldier drawn by the famous western artist, Frederic Remington in 1868. The statue is that of a life-size horse and rider.
