Cobble Stone streets and buildings in the town of Bayeux, France. Bayeux is located four miles from the English Channel and the Aure River flows through the town. The town has a storied history of Norman roots. Bayeux was the first city liberated by Allies after D-Day and virtually untouched during the Battle of Normandy.
